hello,
I have downloaded both the fr-FR and fr-CA language files from github and found that only the fr-Fr .mo and .po files show up on my web site. I insert the files in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/languages. If I put the fr-Fr in, they work, if I put the fr-CA, they don’t work. I have carefully downloaded the fr-CA lang files from github several times and I get the same result.

Another question I have is that I have setup the wp with lang fr-FR, since there is no fr-CA wordpress language file that I can find, could this be causing the problem?

Please advise if you can replicate error.

Event Espresso version 3.1.36.1.P

notice I have a wordpress Multisite version

Hi there,

It’s likely that because WP is set to use fr-FR it doesn’t know to use the Canadian French files. You could try renaming the fr-CA Event Espresso language files to be fr-FR so they’ll load up with the other fr-FR files.

I tried that, but it doesn’t work. I’ll use the fr-FR, thanks
