I have installed your free plugin recently and am playing around with it to see if it will fit the needs of a client’s organization. They would like to have a full calendar that shows regular events that require no sign-up and a few events that require registration. Can you please let me know if that’s possible?
I have changed the settings around on the free version to disallow registration, however that doesn’t offer a good user experience when a person clicks on the link and gets a page saying registration is closed or the other variables offered via the backend.
Lastly, if I may offer a suggestion that would help pre-purchasers like me — It would be helpful if answers in the pre-sales forum weren’t blocked out. I know this question was answered before, but I can’t read the solution, so I must ask again. I imagine this is a waste of your time duplicating replies and I feel it’s a waste of mine as well. Just a thought… Thanks.
If you look under “Event Options” in the lite version’s event editor, you’ll find an option to not display a registration form. If you set that to No then the event page can still display information about the event, but it will not display a registration form.
As an aside, you can view all of the replies in our pre-sales and lite version forums while you’re logged into your ee.com account.
