Free Event – Confirmation Page Loop

We have an event with registration starting today, and are in a bit of a panic.

When you get to the confirmation screen, and confirm your registration you are brought back to a blank confirmation screen, which is confusing for the user.

I’ve added a javascript alert box to provide confirmation for the time being, but would like a permanent solution.

We do have a Thank You page set up as instructed in the screen shot below

Can someone take a look? I am not sure why this is happening. I can provide WP Admin access if someone can take a look

Third party plugins were disabled, and it still occurs.

Hi Kevin,

I looked at the confirmation page, and it’s not displaying the price (which in this case, it should display “Free Event”).

This can be caused by trying to run copies of older templates (from a version of Event Espresso prior to 3.1.28) in the /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates directory. If there are any templates from an older version of Event Espresso in that location, these will need to be removed or updated to work with the newer versions. If you haven’t made any customizations to the templates that were copied over to /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates, you can remove them and the template files from the core will load automatically.
