Hey team,

I noticed this thread: http://staging.eventespresso.com/topic/specific-calendars-for-venues/ from September and wondered if there was more thought regarding a modification to the calendar shortcode to query by venue

Hoping there might be something in the pipe soon to save me a little development time :-)

Cheers!

Hi Brandon,

I checked and there was a venue list shortcode added to display venues in a list:

http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/#venue-list

So far there hasn’t been any work done on the calendar that adds filtering by venue though.

Thanks. I think may end up going category-based anyhow (short of adding both a venue query plus combining various venues into two sets).

For the record, the goal, now, is to have a calendar that displays a category of venues (which, of course, doesn’t have a category option as of now). The idea is that there are two main types of venues for this organization (on-ice and off-ice… it’s a hockey arena); each venue would be a bit overkill though.

Either case, marking this as resolved. :-) Thanks!
