It would be very useful if there was a filter/hook so that I could customize the message for the shopping cart on the event registration page when the cart is empty. I’ve changed line 1082 of /wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/includes/functions/cart.php to echo the output of a custom function (so I can, for example, show several items from a list of recommended events), but this breaks every time there’s an update.

Hi Hope,

Thanks for the feature request. Event Espresso 3.1.X wont be getting any more hooks other than the very few it already has. However 4.0 will be littered with them, as we want it to be as extensible as possible for people. I will mark the hook request on our feature request list.
