Are you asking for Event Espresso to automatically detect a location? Right now you can categorize events and then create specific pages for each category/location. All you would have to do is create links/navigation to those pages.
Just looking to confirm that we can view all events by type, and be able to filter those by area also. Equally, we want to view all events by area and then filter by type….does that make sense ?
As for auto-detect, that would be good but not required just yet. How about searching within X miles of my post code ?…can we do that ?
We don’t have a filter + sub-filter functionality right now. So those pages would have to be added manually. You can add shortcodes for specific categories/locations on each event but that will be somewhat manually configured.
We don’t have a search within x-distance at this time. It’s one of those things we hope to build in the next year or so.
