I am organizing a film festival where we will be selling tickets for individual movie screenings, day passes that allows access to all screenings on a specified day, and a festival pass that allows access to all screenings throughout the festival. I’m a little confused how to handle this within Event Espresso. Has anyone done this before?
I think I would use the Multiple Event Registration add-on, and make the day passes and festival passes as ‘events’. Then use categories such as ‘screening’, ‘day pass’, and ‘festival pass’ to create event lists that don’t confuse the user. It would make controlling attendee number limits more difficult, since the limiting system does not do added events, ie. festival passes + day passes(for that day) + screening passes. There may be a way to make that work with a little custom coding, but I haven’t tried to do it before.
