Hi guys,

thanks for Event Expresso – awesome stuff. I just downloaded Event Espresso Attendee Batch Import Tool Add-on v0.1 and started working with it. Here’s some feedback you might be able to use:

– It says in the instructions that the uploaded file should be named ‘events.csv’ – however, I think this needs to be ‘attendees.csv’ – as is the name of the provided template.

– When updating the template, I saved it as CSV in Excel, but that changed the delimiter to semi-colon thus making the import impossible. Nasty trick from Excel that got me puzzled for a second.

That’s it for now, thanks.

Cheers,

Jochen

OK – now I ran into a problem. I think the imported people aren’t passed on to my MailChimp list that the event updates to. Could that be possible?

Hello Jochen,

As the import is manual, the attendees will not be added to your mailchimp list, you would need to manually import them via Mailchimps own admin.
