Extending event_espresso_user_login funtion

Hi

I tried to extend the core function event_espresso_user_login() but after defining my own custom function in the custom_functions.php I got only a blank page while trying to view the change.

I noticed that the function in the member_function does not check if the function already exists before declaring it.

I added the check

if (!function_exists('event_espresso_user_login'))

and the blank page was rendered correctly.

Probably you already notice or have been asked about this, but I’ll ask the same just in case: could you please add this change in the next release?

Since I won’t be maintaining the installation for long in the future I’d like to avoid breaking the site for an update.

Hello Dario,

I can request that the function be made pluggable, but cannot confirm if or when that will occur, as it is a developer prerogative.
