Looking to purchase premium version.

I want to use this as a sign-up form for a marathon for charity. I want to include fields for name, age, race distance and email address.

I need to be able to export this data into Excel so I can assign each participant a number and then sent the results to a results company I use.

Can event espresso export my form data to Excel?

Yes, you can export event data, as well as attendee data into an excel spreadsheet or csv formats.
