Hello, I’m a new user of both WordPress and Event Espresso so first sorry for a beginner question. I installed the Espresso Plug-In today and I can not hide the pages for the life of me. I downloaded the Exclude Pages plug-in that was recommended, but the pages are still showing. I believe it’s because the pages are located in the menu, but I can’t get them out of the menu. Been pretty much chasing my tail all day so I would greatly appreciate any advice that you can offer!! Here is my site and I’m trying to get a registration form up for our annual Users Conference. (2013 AgWorks Users Conference Registration) http://agworks.net/.
Welcome to both the WordPress and Event Espresso communities. We’re happy to have you.
In order to exclude pages from the navigation, you will need to go to Appearance > Menus in your WordPress dashboard. Then you will need to create a new menu with only the pages you want to display. Once you have done that and saved, you can choose to use the menu as the Primary Navigation (to the left of the Menu setup area).
Thanks for the response and I understand what you mean by creating a new menu, but now I face another program. Some of the pages are not showing up to put in the “new” menu. The first page one there is Products and it’s not available to choose when I select Show All. I have a screenshot, but tried to reply and saw the addresss was a no-reply. So I’m back at square one. Is there any way to just remove those pages from my original menu? Thanks for your help – Andy
