Hi,

I don’t know whether to set up the recurring events as automatic or manual because I need to exclude certain dates in the time period for holidays – e.g. mid-term break.

Please could you advise whether it is possible to use automatic and then exclude a date after?

Many thanks in advance,
Rachel

Hi Clare,

Great question. What I would do is create the recurrences, then just delete the event if it was created on a week that you don’t want an event to appear.

Thanks Jonathan! Makes perfect sense :-)

Just to note if you then edit a Recurring series and apply to ‘All events in this series’ or ‘This an all upcoming events’ options within REM the event may be recreated.

So you’ll need to remember to remove it again if you update a series.
