Hi,

I’m testing the demo and have created three events. The demo site is: http://demoee.org/ufoodie2014

The events page is in the main menu–the menu item is Events Test. When I go to this page, I see my events, but each has the excerpt text twice. Once, under the event title and a second time under the event details header. Did I do something wrong that’s causing this?

Hi Michael,

Thanks for taking the time to demo EE4. I’ve tested this on my test site and can’t reproduce it. Where are you entering the excerpt? Do you have it entered in more than one location?

Hi Michael,

You should be using the http://demoee.org/ufoodie2014/events/ for the listing. Looks like it’s displaying correctly on that page.

Thanks, Jonathan. I didn’t see the EE pages in the menu page, but do now. In addition to missing google maps (described in another post) I see a “description” heading on the Events page, but no text or anything. Should there be something there? I have added a description of the events in each ones main WP editor. Is that what I should be seeing? In any case, I’m not seeing anything under “description.”
