Events page showing price for free event

Hello,

I host free events that accept donations. I used the multiple price option to allow people to donate. Issue is that in event registration page, the price displays a donation amount and not FREE EVENT. I would like all my events to be displayed as FREE EVENT.

Any help would be appreciated. I couldn’t find a solution when searching in the forum

Hi Edgar,

If there’s a price other than 0.00 (donation or otherwise) set for an event, Event Espresso will not recognize this as a free event.

You might try adding the words “Free Event” to your event_list_display.php and registration_page_display.php templates, and change the text string that’s labeled Price: to “Suggested Donation amount” in the very same templates.

Thanks for the quick response. I was afraid it was not possible. I will try the solutions you mentioned.

Well, would there be a way to hide the price from the event registration page?

Josh, I found how to delete it. Not really what I wanted to do, but this plug-in has too many pros to be focused on the few cons.
