So when I have an event in the system, I seem to have to manually close it from registrations (by deleting the registration end date or setting the registration end date to a day in the past). I want the courses to automatically unpublish as they get full and I thought EE came with this feature automatically.
When I delete the registration end date from the event, it automatically closes the event, even if it’s not full. What am I missing here?
Thanks for any help you can give me!

You’ll notice there that the first “Summer Camp” event has zero available spaces. If you click the title of the event, there’s an “Event is full” message instead of a registration form. This happens automatically after the attendee count reaches the set attendee limit:
Thanks Josh, that seems to be how it *should work but they had one class overbook, which surprised me.
Could this be happening because I had group registrations enabled for up to five people? So let’s say I had 8 people registered for a 10 person class. It would still say open so 2 people could register but I could theoretically sign up 5 people and overbook the class from that last registration. That’s the only thing I can think of…
That’s a possibility and should be fixed in this case. It’s also possible that if two people happened to register for the same event around the same time (before the sold out message loads up instead of the registration form they can still register). We had a meeting today and discussed the ticket to fix this issue and I’ll add this forum post to the ticket.
I’m sorry for the trouble on this!
