(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/staging-poc/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114 Event promotion on recurring events | Event Espresso - Staging Server
When i create a recurring event, lets say over a month with a week each. That is 4 events in 1 month.
Lets then assume that i want to give an event promotion discount.
So i pick the end date for the recurring event im creating and give a 25% discount.
So lets assume the the event dates are as the following:
– Monday 7-Jan 2014 (Now to 7-Jan 25% discount)
– Monday 14-Jan 2014 (Now to 14-Jan 25% discount)
– Monday 21-Jan 2014 (Now to 21-Jan 25% discount)
– Monday 28-Jan 2014 (Now to 28-Jan 25% discount)
The event promotion do work, but to me it looks like that the event promotion date is the same for “ALL THE RECURRING EVENTS”.
So if i set the event promotion date to run out 1 week before the first 1-jan 2013 starts, then all 4 will be affected by this.
Can i, is there a way, to create an event promotion discount, when creating recurring events, that are distributed to each event of the recurrence, with the same run-out-on-date interval dynamically?
OR..
Do i have to create every single event manually since i want the event promotion discount to be excatly 7 days before the event start?
You can still create the promo within the recurring series. But you would then need to manually adjust the date for each event after creating the series.
Recurring events basically copy the first event and alter the event/registration start/end based on the options you set.
OK i think the question is resolved. You did answer my question :)
Thanks
