How can pre program an event so from say january 1st to March 1st the price is discounted by $100 , then from March 2 until May 1 its discounted by $75 off the total price , changing by itself at midnight so I don’t have to get up at midnight to change the prices as the event draws nearer?
We have a an early-bird pricing system where it will do automatic discounting one time at a certain date. If you want that early-bird discount to occur twice, you’ll have to modify it once (or multiple times if needed). Does that help?
are there any plans for an automatic way to do this?
So you set the number of times it will do an early discount , then you set the dates to change at midnight ,then the different discount amounts for each?
No there are currently no plans to automate the early bird pricing to do a staged discount like you are asking.
Early bird pricing expires at midnight beginning of the last day.
To explain. You enter 30th April as the last day, the early bird discount stops at the start of the 30th end of the 29th.
