The client requirement is that they want to charge participation fees based on the user selected boat type. Example: $10 for small boat, $20 for big boat etc. The user will select this option in the registration form drop down and fees will be charged on that basis. Additionally dinner tickets can be bought for a price but this option is only for the participants who have selected large boat.
Can these options be configured in Event Espresso?
The user will select this option in the registration form drop down and fees will be charged on that basis.
This currently is not part of the Event Espresso core although is available through one of our ‘Pre-release’ (Beta) Add-on’s called the ‘Price Modifier Add-on’ this allows you to assign a ‘value’ to a question which will be added/subtracted from the total.
Additionally dinner tickets can be bought for a price but this option is only for the participants who have selected large boat.
Unfortunately conditional questions such as these are currently not supported in event espresso 3.X, it is possible but would require some custom development.
