Since upgrading 2-3 weeks ago to 3.1.35.2.P, the overview page no longer shows all events, even though filters are default set to “Show all categories” and “Active/Ongoing”. I need to reset the status to “ALL (Active/Inactive)” to see my events. It’s annoying as I have to do it every time. Any suggestions?
There is not currently a way to set what the event overview will default to, sorry about that. We removed the inactive events from display due to numerous complaints and feature requests by the community who wanted a cleaner overview with the focus being on the currently active events.
I would be happy if indeed it did show all open events. But it doesn’t. It shows just one or two (the same one or two all the time). I have about 30 other open events that I cannot see until I set the filter status to “ALL (Active/Inactive). When I do that and these events appear, their status is listed as OPEN. So somewhere there is a problem in the default filter recognizing my open events as open events.
Can you check one of the open events that are not displaying in the list and make sure that the dates that are entered in the event editor are in this format:
YYYY-MM-DD
and that the Event end date is after today’s date?
Date format is correct. However we had not inserted an end date (didn’t need to do that before). I tried inserting one in an event and Bingo! it appeared on the list. So that fixed the issue. Will say I prefered it the old way, where I could leave that field blank.
