This, I’m sure this is an easy answer. I can’t find “Event Overflow”. Is this an add-on I need to purchase?

I have Event Espresso 3.1.32.2, Event Espresso – Calendar 2.0.5.1 and Event Espresso – Recurring Events 1.1.7

Hi Jeff,

The Event overflow feature is included with the core plugin. Here’s a link to the documentation that shows how to set up an overflow/waitlist event:

I don’t understand that it is located in the core plugin. Do I have access to it? The problem is that I can’t find it…… its not located under “Event Options”. I can show you a screenshot, but I don’t know how to attach that here…

Hi Jeff,

Yes, the waiting list function is included in the core plugin.

You can link to a screenshot that you’ve taken with a screenshot program.

Okay, please look here: http://themarriageresource.org/screen-shot/

There is no option for “Event Overflow”….

Did you create a second event and set the Event Status to “waitlist”?

No, I haven’t. Duh – I’m assuming that will create the event overflow option? :)

Great, that worked, thank you!! Is there a way that a person can pay a certain amount to hold their place for that event should a spot become available?
