I’m honestly trying to voice this nicely and trying to be calm but this plug in is making my business look really bad on an ongoing basis.
Every time I add events people tell me they can’t see them or the links aren’t working. So frustrating.
I am creating new events. They work. The links work. Then when I add another new event, it defaults to a different link and says ‘page not found’. Every event defaults to the same ‘page not found page’ which happens to be the last event that I added.
Now all of my events default to the same page. I have absolutely no idea why, nor does my web guy.
I’m starting to intensely dislike using Event Epresso.
Then I couldn’t even log on to the forum and had to create a new user even though I still had the email with my user name and password that you sent me in March when I had a similar issue.
I just want something simple so that people can book and register. This happens every time I try to add events. Am I missing something simple?
I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with getting Event Espresso to work as expected. After reading over your description of the problems you are having, and looking over the website, it looks to me that the page settings are not set up correctly.
If you go into Event Espresso>General settings, look under “Page Settings”. There will be a setting for the main registration page. Check this page and make sure that the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode is on this page
Regarding your account: You should have received an email in June with new account information for the new site. These were sent to the email address used when originally purchasing Event Espresso. If you cannot find this email with the new account info, please contact the sales team via this form and they will help you with getting your account up to date.
