Hello,

I just applied the 31.1.P patch and wanted to let you know the Event Overview event filtering has taken a step backward.  We have  a lot of events in our system, and before this patch the first collected list of events was omitted from the results.  This forced me to login to the admin account, open a separate browser tab, and select “edit event”.  I lived with this because, though painful, it was generally limited because I could still get “most” of the events through the overview screen.

After this patch, however, almost all of the events are EXcluded.

Just this morning, before the patch, I could view all of the remaining (51) active events in April for our “category 1”.  Now I can view only 27.

Here is the data:

select count(1), event_status from wp_events_detail where start_date between ‘2013-04-09’ and ‘2013-05-01’ and category_id=1 group by event_status

count(1)
 event_status

 51
 A

 1
 D

 1
 R

PLEASE fix the filtering in EE for customers with volume events like us.  This is cumbersome to the point that the owner wants to drop the system because this has become so inefficient to manage.

Thanks,

Bill

Bill,

What version did you update from?

Bill,

The only thing we changed in the filters was the problem with the other filters not staying selected when changing a filter and a problem with the last day of the month not getting calculated correctly. I’m not seeing any changes that could have affected the results that are returned.

Can you please send me an export of your current data? That will help me see what is going a lot easier.

Hi Bill,

Can you provide us with a step by step process on how we can replicate the issue you’re having?

Hi Seth & Josh,

Thank you for the reply.  I will set up a login to my system for you.

I think you have my email address or is there another way to get the login to you?
