Good morning,

Event Espresso triggers the update notifier in WordPress but when checking the update, there is no update! The update disappears when you deactivate Evens Espresso. Please resolve this issue ASAP.

Thanks a lot!
EMstudios

Thank you for reporting this. A few questions:

  1. Did this happen after upgrading using the auto upgrade (if so, what was the previous version of EE and what was the new version upgrading to)?
  2. OR Did it happen after adding site-license key?
  3. OR did show up seemingly randomly (which would indicate it appeared after regular WP-cron triggered update checks?
  4. Have you ever had any problems on this particular install with using your EE site-license key?

Bernd —

Do you have any other versions of Event Espresso installed (or other Event Espresso add-ons)? Do your Event Espresso plugin directories have a version number in the folder name?

No, I have not. No, they do not have version numbers. What to do now?
