Hi there just looking at the plugin to see if its suitable for what I need. It a seems to do most things but wondered if once someone has entered an event their name could be automatically added to a players list? The tournament we re running has a few hundred people entered in different events so it would be good to automate the process so that once the player has paid their name is automatically added to a page that everyone has access to within the website. I.e. a competitors list… Would save lot of time!

Thanks for any advice…

Hi Ali,

How are you today?

Automatically assigning someone to a list is not a current feature. It would probably be best if you use Event Espresso for the standard registration, but build custom functionality to handle your list assignment.

Hi there,

Garth may have misunderstood your question. I can clarify that there is a feature in Event Espresso that will list out names of people who have signed up for specific events and have paid. It’s basically a shortcode that you put on a web page: [LISTATTENDEES].

It doesn’t automatically assign players to teams or anything like that though.

With a little knowledge of PHP it can be tweaked a bit too if need be by modifying the shortcode’s template.

Hi Garth & Josh

Thanks for your replies … yes that’s what I meant Josh; probably a bit long winded how I explained. But that’s great; looks like it does exactly what I need :-)
