Dear Espresso,

On my site, TheTangoClub.com which uses the Striking theme, I want to “lose” the “event Deatils heading and replace it with the event name – which currently occurs as the first line of the detail section. How do I do this?

Hello,

That is the Page title, so whatever the page is called which has the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode on will be displayed.

In order to so what you want, you would need to create a new page template and code it so it pulls the database data for the event and add that in as a title. Reason being is the event data is loaded after the page template so the database call that the Event Espresso template makes is after the title has been loaded already.

Alternatively you could use jQuery to modify the title after the fact, but of course if Javascript is turned off it wont work.
