Is there a specific way to edit the emails received (by the company) when someone registers?

This is a quote from office staff – when someone registers and they receive an email notice . . . “We really need the event ID, TXN, and payment info put back on there”

Apparently all of these were on there before and now they are not.

Any help, appreciated!

Hi Tim,

The admin email functions have not changed in quite a while, so my guess would be that this was from a customization that was done by another developer. Do you have a backup of the older version from when these were there before? The changes would have been made to /includes/functions/email.php.

A tool like diffmerge could be used to quickly spot changes between the new version’s file and the other one.

Josh, I am unable to find a /functions/email.php. on the current site, could you tell me the full path?

I’ve looked in wp includes and espresso includes

Just bumping this up again. Josh can you point out the full path to /includes/functions/email.php. I can’t find it anywhere.

I have found the custom overrides which were placed in a different file altogether it appears. I just can’t find the EE file the functions appear to be using currently.

Thanks!

Try wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/includes/functions/email.php
