I updated the plugin from Version 3.1.21.P to Version 3.1.32.2.P and now the pages that used the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode display the shortcode as plain text. Since no one can register for classes, I reverted back to the old version, which still works. Link to the registrations page is http://perconline.org/events/

I have gone through the forum topics regarding this issue but have not found a solution that works for me. Please Help!

I am not a developer, so please respond and explain the fix in easy, layman’s terms.

Hi Theodore,

Did you try the solution that involves turning off the Custom Post Types feature in Event Espresso>Templates settings? The custom post types feature uses “events” in its permalink. This could affect the page since the page with [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] has the exact same permalink.

I’m experiencing the same issue, but only with the Thank You page. All that is showing is [ESPRESSO_PAYMENTS].

Here is a direct link: http://www.cynergycrossfit.com/thank-you/
Here is the link I received in my confirmation letter: http://www.cynergycrossfit.com/thank-you/?r_id=2-51d74c4c84a17

@Cynthia, can you check your General Settings page and make sure that your thank you page is selected as the “Auto Return URL (Thank You and Return Payment page):” page.

It may be worth re-saving those options as well. If this doesnt fix the issue, please advise. We may need login information at that point.

Thanks Dean, yes I did. They were set up properly but I re-saved it anyway. Same result.

@Cynthia
Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this?

If so, please send them via http://staging.eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

NOTE: login details need to be Admin level.

@Cynthia, OK I believe it is sorted. Not sure why but I had to delete the original Thank You page and create a new one and add it to the settings. I made a test event (now deleted) and it seemed to work just fine. Please advise if there are further issues.

Thanks Dean, that seemed to do the trick. However, I know have 2 identical Thank You pages. Can I delete one of them?

Yes, you only need one thank you page.
