I’m having a problem. I set up a Main Registration Page, I put in the shortcode and I went to register for an event. The page is showing the shortcde and not the form.

Hi Bill,

Where can we find the registration page that you have set? Normally the Event Espresso plugin takes care of creating a main registration page when the plugin activates, did this get changed? What is the page set as the main registration page in Event Espresso>General settings?

Hi Bill,

Can you try making the event-registration page a top level page instead of nesting it under kids-balance-bike-register?

Having the main registration page nested under another page will sometimes work, but sometimes not on some server configurations.

Hi Josh….I made the regitration form come up on a page. When I fill out the form it doesn’t take me to paypal to make payment. It took me to the page that I gave you. I will make another top level page to see if it works.

Hi Bill,

This sounds like the main registration page setting needs to be corrected. If you go to Event Espresso>General settings and look under Page settings, there is a Main registration page setting. When you first install Event Espresso, it sets this to a page named “Event Registration” that has the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode. You’ll need to make sure that the page that has [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] on it is the same page that’s set as the main registration page. If it doesn’t match, the registration process will not work.
