I’ve experience the below errors on my site this morning. When I removed the event espresso plugin files, then tried to reload them, and Cpanel reports the espresso.php file as containing a virus.

    How do I fix this?

    Hello,

According to sucuri.net you have malware on your site. This could have been caused by either a hack attempt or it could be an hosting issue, to quote sucuri:

Generally happens when the site is compromised by a script injection
or due to an hosting error. Either way, it should be fixed.

You will need to speak to your host regarding their stance on fixing malware, and/or use a service such as sucuri.

If you have a known clean backup of your site, you could wipe the site clean and reinstall.

Can I ask what version of Event Espresso you have running?
