Espresso Log file too large

The log file for Event Espresso (espresso_log.txt) is 117 MB on my website and accounts for almost half of my hosted data. Is there a need for it to be this big? Anyway to keep it from getting extremely large? Or reducing it’s size?

Hi Lee,

The logging feature should only be used for troubleshooting purposes. It should be turned off when you don’t need it. You could make a back up of this file somewhere if you think you might need it, but more than likely you can delete it.

Then go to Event Espresso>General settings and turn this feature off.
