I am trying to customize the ‘Add to Cart’ function for my website. I’d like to have a link to the cart however when I use the Espresso_Cart_Link shortcode it always adds an event to the cart and then redirects to the registration page. Is there a way to force it to simply go to the registration page without adding a new event. For example, ill have events a,b, and c in the cart and then I will click the Go To Cart link I created and it will add in event d for some reason. My code simply looks like :
[ESPRESSO_CART_LINK direct_to_cart=1 moving_to_cart=”Redirecting to cart…”]
Also,
A neat feature would be to count how many items are inside the cart. I came across some code that would allow for this but couldn’t get it to work for my site. Is this something that will be implemented in the future? http://staging.eventespresso.com/topic/get-number-of-items-in-cart/
The page ID number is the id number for the page with ESPRESSO_EVENTS shortcode on it.
I will definitely add your request regarding the cart count feature.
