Ending Cart Session Upon Leaving the Site

Hi there,

I was curious if there is a way to set it so that if you add an item to the cart and leave before fully checking out, and come back to the site; it won’t have the old item in the cart plus a new item that you just added.

It seems to keep any unchecked out items in the cart based on some kind of user session (even while not logged in), and I was curious if it’s possible so that if you leave the site, the cart clears out to avoid confusion.

Also, our client wants to change the verbiage “Attendees” to “Guests” globally. Is there an easy way to do that, or what file would I go to, in order to change those instances?

Hi Gary,

The [ESPRESSO_CANCELLED] shortcode on a page will clear a session. It should be used with care though because if you put it on the same page where they add an event to the cart it will clear the session instead of allowing the cart to store it.
