Hi Maria,

Since your website already had an SSL certificate installed, this was fairly straightforward. There were a few extra tasks involved because of the WooCommerce plugin. It has its own Force Secure setting that needs to be disabled when using a plugin like WordPress HTTPs to secure pages. So I followed their guide:

and Event Espresso’s guide:

http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/espresso-sslhttps/

The pages that handle checkout for Event Espresso and WooCommerce are now secure. It would be good to go through and test this out just to make sure. If you buy something via the WooCommerce cart or sign up for a class via the Event Espresso calendar you should now see a padlock in the address bar on the page where you enter credit card information. The padlock means the page is secure.
