Ok, here is my latest difficult-to-implement user request:
I am using the staff plugin with Event Espresso, and so my clients are setting up events and choosing staff for them. What they want is that when someone registers for an event, the chosen staff are informed of the registration (as opposed to the event organiser, I guess)
Is this built in? If not, any clues on how I might go about it?
Can it do both? Can you put multiple emails seperated by a comma or something in the alternate email address field?
We’re currently trying to use the system for booking golf tee times, so we want to notify our admins when something is booked, but also email the course to let them know that a booking has been made.
Somewhat unrelated – but does this email go out after a reservation is made, or after it has been paid for?
Yes, you can add as many email addresses as you’d like to the alternate email address field by separating each of them with a comma. Last time I checked, it was sending the email to both the main admin in addition to the alternate(s) as well.
The registration email can be configured to be sent out immediately after the reservation is made, or after payment is made. The setting that controls this is in Event Espresso>General Settings under Mail Settings that’s labeled: “Send registration confirmation emails before payment is received?” Setting this to yes or no will change when the registration confirmation email notification gets sent out.
