Emails Not Being Sent. All Paid Registrations are Pending?

I have version 3.1.332p installed on several sites with event espresso. None of them are sending out emails to registrants regardless of what I do. Also, another problem that began occurring several weeks ago, many payments are set as pending regardless of how the attendee paid. Please help because without registration confirmation emails we are getting a significant number of complaints.

Hi Jaime,

Are all of these sites hosted on the same server? Some mail servers do not handle the email that Event Espresso sends out so well. A very effective way to work around this is by using a service like Mandrill, PostMark, or even Gmail to send out the email.

If you go the postmark/Mandrill route, we have a plugin that integrates WP with those services:

If you go the Gmail route, the WP Mail SMTP plugin works very well.

With the Pending payments issue, what are the payment options that made available?

If you have the Check/Money Order, Invoice, or bank transfer options active these will automatically set the payment status to Pending if the registrant chooses one of those options and clicks the link to finalize the registration.
