Some of my customers are not able to submit a Paypal Payment or PO number when they register which leaves them as Incomplete. This is good. BUT, they get the same confirmation email as if they had entered a PO Number. Is there a way I can send a different email to those who have not entered a PO number or other form of payment? I want to tell them to go back to their payment page and pay or they will lose their spot.
If they are all getting the confirmation email, then I’m guessing that you have the ’email confirmations before payment’ set to yes in the EE->General Settings->Email settings. I’m afraid that if you have it set that way, then the people who use Paypal or PO are going to get that confirmation email before they pay. You can do a slight modification to the PO gateway so that those people will get the payment confirmed email, like the people who use Paypal. That way you can change the wording in the confirmation email, that everyone gets, to something like ‘if you have not already submitted a PO number or paid through Paypal, you need to do so now’ and then the payment link shortcode.
Thanks Sidney, that’s what I did. I was looking for an automated solution though.
Thanks anyway,
Bill
