I am using wp 3.7.1 I made an update to the email confirmation from the email manager page, and the confirmation that is sent is the older version. I have tried to fix it by:
downloading the newest Event Espresso update (today)
Changing the theme to the wp default
Adding a new email with the correct information.

Any thoughts on what it could be? Thank you!

Hi Margaret,

Have you setup the event the attendee is registering for to use the custom email you created within the Email manager?

Within the event, scroll down to Email Configuration, set ‘Send custom confirmation emails for this event?’ to Yes. Then select new ‘pre-existing email’ you created and update the settings.

If I set up a custom email, it works fine and the correct email is sent.

When I go back and select “pre-existing email” it reverts to the wrong email. Since it is the same email confirmation for every one of my classes, I’d prefer if I had one email to edit when I need to make changes, instead of editing all of the ‘custom’ emails.

The email manager allows you to create multiple emails which can be chosen using the ‘pre-exisitng email’ dropdown on a per event basis.

If you want to edit the site-wide confirmation email used when custom emails are not in use you edit Event Espresso -> General Settings. In there you’ll find Email Settings. http://d.pr/i/bYzB

That is the default site-wide confirmation email used when custom emails are not being used.

Hope that helps :)
