I see options to email a single attendee and to email a group of attendees for a particular event, but nothing to email ALL attendees at once. Am I missing it or does this option not exist?
All attendees for all events? No, it’s not an option. In all likelihood, sending that many emails at one time would get blocked by your host anyway. Most ISPs have restrictions against the number of emails you can send at one time (usually 50-100) so if you had more attendees across all your events than that, you’d likely run into that ceiling and get your email turned off for an hour. Consider using the MailChimp add-on for those sorts of mass mailings and just make it worth their while to confirm their subscription.
I am trying to utilize the “Email Event Attendees” function that is within my event. My event has over 300 registrants. I tried it a couple times, but after about 5 minutes, it didn’t work. Is there a way for me to do it in sections of 50 or so at a time? The MailChimp add-on isn’t an option for me because many of the companies that need to receive these emails have a block on MailChimp, Constant Contact. Let me know. Thanks!
