Hi,

I am currently using –
Wordpress Version: 3.8.1;
Event Espresso Version: 4.1.8.reg;

So I’ve run into a small problem where the widget is showing the event even if its already begun – whereas I want it to show the next up coming event when an event has started.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

In the widget settings (Appearance > Widgets > click the widget in your sidebar) is the Show Expired events set to Yes? If so, change it to No.

Hi @Dean,

Its set to “No”, but I understand that the event hasn’t expired just yet, its in the “active” state as its started but not ended.

Having said that, it seems like the widget has gone way past the date of an event http://puu.sh/7lvi5.png

Thanks for the help!

Hi Martin,

The Widget will display the events whilst they are upcoming and active.

Once the event becomes expired it should then be removed from the widget.

Would you like the option to only display upcoming events also, so once an event becomes active (Event start == now) they would be removed?

@Tony-Warwick Yeah exactly! If that’s possible, that would be awesome.

Thanks.

Hi Martin,

That isn’t currently possible, but I will certainly add it in as a feature request for you.
