( e.g full 4 days workshop) | Event Espresso - Staging Server
Does the EE4 supports single event with multi different days?
Example, a short full workshop on how to dance has 4 different days, 28th Feb 2014, 1st Mar, 2014 and 10th & 11th May 2014, its a serial of 4 days workshops.
Not an event with different days which target different people attending different time and day.
Yes, EE4 is better suited for that than EE3. You can have a single event with multiple dates/times (datetimes) and even separate tickets (and combinations of tickets) for each datetime. One ticket can work for all datetimes or a ticket can work for on a few datetimes. Those controls are all available in the datetime and ticket options:
Let me put in my words, please let me know if I get it correct.
Question 1)
situation A) A full day 4 workshop, must attend 4 days with different date and time, EE4 can handle it
situation B) A single workshop but has 4 different date with different time ( all 4 days teach the same thing) it is to allow people to sign up different day and time., only need to attend 1 day, , EE4 can handle it too
Question 2)
Could EE 3 handle situation A and B both?
Yes, I believe EE4 can handle those scenarios and display to the user in the front-end ticket selector the details of the ticket and which datetimes are accessible with that ticket.
Different tickets (if for the same event) should be configured to attend 4 days or just one day, etc.
You can obviously configure different events differently.
Does that help? Anything else I can do to try and explain?
