Fatal error: Call to a member function base_type() on a non-object in /home/boarding/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/db_classes/EE_Taxes.class.php on line 258

Added one ticket, saved draft and got this error where the add ticket box normally is. If this is an issue with my template please let me know as I have been having a difficult time with the developers and feel the site was not up-to-scratch when they built it.

They seem to need clear guidelines on what (and how) to fix things, but due to this being a Beta product, just wanted to check it wasn’t on your end first. I am using EE4 as it will suit our recent event more than EE3, but if you feel EE3 would be better for the situation I will shift back.

Thanks for your help! :)

Hi Bjorn,

How are you today? Can I ask a couple questions?

Did you migrate this site from EE3 or is this a new website install with EE4? Is this the first event and first ticket you created? Just trying to reproduce your error following the steps you described.

Can you also tell us how you configured that first ticket? Maybe offer a screenshot of your ticket configuration?

Hi Garth,

I uninstalled E3 and then installed E4, and did not migrate any data.

I created the event and then made a ticket with a price and added tax.
Then tried to added an additional ticket. Saved as a draft. Went to make another event, then came back to previous event and it was like this.

Might I add that I have had serious issues with the template and have been on the phone to the developer several times in the last week. If you need access to the site to provide diagnosis please PM me.

Just reread your posts and noticed I hadn’t answered the questions effectively:
This was the first ticket I made in this system
I cannot show you the ticket configuration as I am now unable to access that ticket, but I have mentioned above the rough configurations (e.g. price, tax etc.)
