I am testing a new install of 4.2.1.reg with PayPal Standard gateway. I have a registration that I would like to delete but it’s locked. It belongs to a transaction that was refunded through PayPal. Hovering over the lock icon, the message says that I must “delete all payments attached to the related transaction first” before deleting the registration. How do I do that? There doesn’t seem to be a way to do that in the transactions list.
Then click on the transaction. Scroll down and you should see a payment similar to the screenshot above. Click on the trash icon to remove it. Then approve the removal.
Thanks Lorenzo. I found it. I’m not familiar with the interface yet.
In case anybody has the same problem, go to WP-admin –> Event Espresso –> Transactions as Lorenzo said. Click on the “View Registration Details” icon in the transactions list for the transaction you’re interested in, then in the Registration Details look for the “View Transactions” button and click on that. Notice a “Transaction Details” drop down that is collapsed. Expand it and you’ll see the payment details. I never noticed it since it was collapsed by default.
I’ve spun up a new site and it wasn’t hidden by default but we’ll do some more testing.
Have a great weekend!
