Is there any way to edit the text displayed for the “edit” hyperlink next to step 1 – attendee information on the event registration form?

Thanks for your help

Hi Dominic,

Go ahead and void the “test test” registration. I needed to enter some information to get to the page with the information.

function replace_attendee_edit($content)
{
$content = str_replace('<a id="spco-edit-attendee_information-lnk" class="spco-edit-step-lnk" href="http://ieec.co.uk/event-registration/?ee=_register&amp;step=attendee_information" rel="attendee_information">edit</a>', '<a id="spco-edit-attendee_information-lnk" class="spco-edit-step-lnk" href="http://ieec.co.uk/event-registration/?ee=_register&amp;step=attendee_information" rel="attendee_information">MYNEWEDITWORD</a>',$content);
return $content;
}
add_filter('the_content','replace_attendee_edit');

The above code can go into your theme’s functions.php file or a custom plugin. Be sure to update “MYNEWEDITWORD” to something else.

It works by looking for a phrase and replacing it with another.
