I am looking at buying this for a specific application. My customer animatedly wants the ability to “autoapprove” all Credit Card transactions that are successfully transmitted rather than have to manually change the tag from pending to approved. IS THAT POSSIBLE?
Also, is there a way to send out mail to people registered for an event that was cancelled (say due to weather, etc)? I’m thinking that it may be a problem with some servers and spam sensors – any provision for this?
Yes, if you set the default registration status for an event to “Pending Payment” then it will approve the registration if the payment is successful. If you set the default registration status to “Not Approved” then your client can manually approve customers (or do other things too), but Event Espresso automates things nicely for the situation you described.
We do have a “Registration Cancelled” message type that can be turned on to automatically send them an email if their registration is cancelled. This is not specifically for canceling an event more the registration, but it will probably accommodate your needs.
Does that help?
