Hey,

Had a look through the forums for an answer for this already but nothing seems to match my problem.

Events are not being pulled through to the calendar, no errors are being thrown in JS, disabled all plugins and set the theme back to 2014 WP.

You can see the calendar page at: http://www.2ty.in/ee3cal

There are 3 events on the system that should be pulled through, you can see they are open here: http://www.2ty.in/ee3reg

Run out of ideas as to why this is happening, as it looks like all the scripts are enqueued and printed on the page.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi James,

Unfortunately both those links have expired (http://take.ms/KOy8i)

Can you go to Dashboard -> Settings -> General.

Which timezone setting are you currently using and also the Date & Time formats please?

Is it possible for you to link us to the site so we can view the page?

Sorry about that,

Calendar: http://91.109.6.248/~girlgu/diary/
Event List: http://91.109.6.248/~girlgu/event-registration/

Timezone is set to GMT

Hi James,

If you have WP_Debug turned on can you deactivate it and see if the calendar issue persists?

Ahh,

That’s bringing through the events now.

Out of curiosity and for future reference; any idea why having WP_Debug on prevented the events showing up?

Thanks for the assistance anyhow.

Hi James,

The Calendar pulls the events using AJAX, so when you have WP_DEBUG/Error reporting on if any notices are thrown then are included within the AJAX call which then throws an error and the Calendar doesn’t not display the events. (Example from your site – http://take.ms/ecN9H)

This is down to PHP 5.4+ which is stricter than previous versions, so previously valid code now displays warnings/notices. (We have a tickets open to fix/reduce these)

You could also set error reporting to log the errors as opposed to displaying them, however be aware you may end up with a large error report file with PHP5.4
