I have a registrant with a red circle under payment. In Authorize.net, there is no record of decline or acceptance of payment.

I looked up the file here in wp-content/uploads/espresso/logs. wp-content.

Under P. Graves, it says “Fail due to credit card number being invalid.” Authorize.net has no listing of this.

Can you explain this/tell me how to resolve in future? I can’t understand why it says cc number invalid if authorize.net doesn’t even have a transaction?

yes, in wp-content/uploads/espresso/logs. wp-content should be in your web root folder.

Fail due to credit card number being invalid. Authorize.net has no listing of this.

Is there a transaction id next to the error message in the logs?

This is what is listed after Transaction ID:
;s:1:”0″;s:14:

Any update on this? Thank you!

I don’t know why authorize.net would not return a transaction id or have no record of the transaction. Unless the setting “Submit a test transaction” was turned on, they should have some kind of record on it. Are you using AIM or SIM?

AIM

Hi KIROS – Penny,

Can you check to see if there is another plugin installed on this site that may also have an AIM gateway? It may be there is some on-site validation running that prevented the card from being submitted because the card number wasn’t valid.

There is no other plugin.

We have had another problem today: We can’t figure out how G. Fraser registered for this event- Seattle Breakfast Event with Dr. Steven Garber (3/20/14) and was able to get the $18, early bird price, even though the early bird date is passed. Someone else registered today before her and paid the $22, standard price. Can you tell us how this happened?

Hi there,

If they had that page open in their browser before the price went up that could happen.

Is there a way to fix this so that doesn’t occur? Thank you!

Hello,

Information is stored in a php session. You may want to explore using this option in Event Espresso –> General Settings:

http://cl.ly/image/2m3C2t3g010l

It will allow you to set a timeout. At this time, the session should close and they would have to begin registration again which will use the latest pricing for any tickets.
