Is it possible to use 3.1-related extensions like the Seating Chart add-on with version 3.2?

Hello Michael.

3.2 hasnt been released yet but the addons will be updated to work with 3.2. We always recommend running the latest version of the core plugin and addons.

If you mean 3.1.27 instead of 3.2, then yes the addons should work fine, though I would recommend updating the addons as well, especially the Roles and permissions (basic and pro) as that had a lot of work done to it.
