Hi there!
I would like to add a few more merge fields in the confirmation email the event administrators receive, namely adding the groupon code and discount code used by the registrant (as applicable). Is that possible?
Thank you in advance!
Sarolta

Hi Csete,

At this time, there isn’t a built in editor feature that allows for editing the confirmation email that goes to the admin. So the code that generates this email would need to be modified. You can find the functions that generate the admin email by looking in event-espresso/includes/functions/email.php.

Thank you! Do you know of any written resources that go into detail on the modification of email.php?
Best,
Sarolta

Hi Csete,

We do not currently have any documentation that goes into how to modify email.php.

I can point you to where the code is that builds the admin email. It starts on line 398 and ends on line 460.
