I have a problem – when someone registers for an event, they are entered multiple times into the database. Can you please help me prevent this problem – also where and how do i find the backend database.
Hi Lisa,
Sometimes I’ve seen it where there is a plugin that is silently reloading the registration confirmation page so the registration gets duplicated.
The backend database can usually be accessed via the host’s phpmyadmin. There is also a plugin that can be installed that’s called adminer. Before altering the database, please be sure to make a backup first.
Here is what I do when I’m ruling out a plugin conflict:
1) deactivate all WordPress plugins
2) Reactivate Event Espresso
3) run a test to determine if the issue persists
4) start reactivating plugins one by one.
Please note that we do not provide support for 3rd party plugins. So if you’d prefer someone from Event Espresso rule out a plugin conflict, we would need to require the purchase of a premium support token.
