I am about at my wit’s end! I know that I should know this but it’s not happening. I want my recurring events in a category to drop down to pick a date. I have REM Version 1.1.7 and EE Version 3.1.25.P. I added the REM extra code to my CSS file and the code I’ve added to the pages are [EVENT_ESPRESSO_CATEGORY event_category_id=”mycategory” show_recurrence=true] and also like this [EVENT_LIST category_identifier=mycategory show_recurrence=true] (with and without quotes). I’ve put the event_list_display.php and event_list.php in the uploads/espresso/templates file. What am I missing here?

Are the dates not dropping down or are the events not displaying at all?

They are displaying individually in a “long” list! This is a test site. I am running EE on my current live site and the drop down works for REM events. When the test site is ready to go live, we will dismantle the current site. I have gotten this to work before, I just can’t figure out why it’s not working this time!

I’m still having a hard time envisioning what you are describing. Can you post a screenshot?

You want them grouped, right? IIRC, I was told not to update beyond 3.1.21P if I wanted to keep this feature – at least until 3.2 is released or the REM is updated. Does this sound right, Chris?

I beat my head against that wall yesterday. Using V 3.1.26.P reverted back to V 3.1.25P all is happy with one issue. The link to the event on drop down doesn’t go anywhere. Changed line (around) 51 in event-list-display.php (recurring events version) from [registration_url] to /event-registration/?ee=’.$e[‘event_id’].’ and it works out. Kinda hacky but does the trick;-)

If anyone wants to test out an updated version of the REM event_list.php template that is compatible with ~ 3.1.25, I put up a gist here:

Thanks! That is also what I need. Templates were broken and with this update they are all working again in 3.1.26.
